11:59 p.m. on 12/31 will be the official END of 2012. As we near the end of this year, we can reflect back on the days and see that many were Young and Restless while others were Bold and Beautiful. Unfortunately, many were taken to General Hospitals for acts of random and not so random violence. All I can say is this: these are the Days of Our Lives. (Ok. I assume you got it that I was playing on words on the four remaining soap operas on television).
Now on a more serious note (not that the above isn’t serious)
May we consider this as we enter 2013:
Let’s leave old mindsets behind
Don’t allow racial prejudices keep us blind.
Make an effort to help our fellow man
Let’s share GOD’S love as much as we can.
Pray for mother’s giving birth
Pray for this planet we call earth.
Teach our children right from wrong
Start each day with a brand new song.
Read your Bible every day
And don’t forget to watch and pray.
Do good to all, judge not your brother
Lend a helping hand to one another.
Pray for leaders here and there
Pray for leaders everywhere.
Seek the good, not the bad
Learn from every lesson you ever had.
Remember GOD in all you do
And love others because GOD loves YOU.
