Women, Know Your Worth! If He Will Cheat With You, He Will Cheat On You! 7-30-13

I just recently had the opportunity to observe some women at a company where I was working. One woman in particular, stood out. On certain days of the week, she would wear provocative clothing. At first I didn’t catch on, but as the weeks went by, I noticed that on the days she dressed provocatively, she was dressing for her “secret lover”, a particular male employee who only came to our location on those days. They were having an affair! “That’s not bad”, you say. Well this woman is MARRIED! Her husband comes to the job site and visits and when he is about to leave, they have this big PDA (public display of affection). They tell each other “I love you” and then as soon as the husband leaves, she would run back over to her secret lover and they would kiss ~ right in front of the other employees. She seemed oblivious to the fact that her co-workers were disgusted by her actions.

This woman does not know her worth and neither does the man whom she is having an affair with. What gets me is that the lover knows the husband but yet and still, he goes behind this man’s back and lays with his wife.

This woman, as beautiful as she is, had three violations:
#1 She violated one of the items in the employee handbook which clearly states that there shall be no sexual contact between employees while at work and it is strongly suggested that sexual relationships be avoided altogether.

#2 She violated her marriage vows. I don’t know if her husband is having an affair or not. What I do know is that she showed such PDA with her husband and then started kissing on another man as soon as her husband left the building.

#3 She violated herself by lowering her self-respect. She didn’t care who knew she was having an affair with this man whom I consider less than a man because he knew she was married and knew who she was married to.

This woman, because of her lust, could have very well lost her job. I don’t know if that is in going to happen, but there have definitely been some changes at the job because of her behavior. Yes she still wears seductive clothes when her lover is at the site, but she no longer is allowed to sit with or near him during working hours.

Women, KNOW YOUR WORTH. If a man will cheat WITH you, chances are, he WILL CHEAT ON YOU!

I Know GOD is Real

Some believe GOD is real
Some think HE’s no big deal.
Some think GOD is cool
And because I believe in HIM, some call me a fool.
Some ask me how
I believe in a GOD I can’t see?
And my answer to them is
“I simply believe”.
Who or what
made the air that we breathe?
Who or what
made the grass and the trees?
Who or what
made mankind?
Who or what
made rain and sunshine?
I don’t know what to tell you
Except I Know GOD is Real.
And believe it or not
To me, GOD’S the REAL DEAL!

Compassion and Love

ImageSome times love is spoken but not shown. At Out of A Pure Heart Ministries, we like to walk the talk. In other words, we like to DO love more than just talk about love.
In JESUS’ public ministry, HE had compassion on the people who were following HIM. When he was teaching the multitudes, HE had compassion on them ~ See Matthew 9:36-38, Matthew 20:30-34, Matthew 14:14-21, and Luke 7:11-16.  In these
Scriptures, we see that JESUS had “intense feelings of Divine Love” for the people whom HE was preaching and teaching. Not only did JESUS give them the Word, HE SHOWED them the WORD in action by feeding, healing, and forgiving sin.
I’m writing this article because I can feel an amazing change in my heart. It is a heart of compassion. According to Wikipedia.com, compassion means “Sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others”. I am beginning to feel that more strongly, every day. That’s why I can sit and make gift bags to give to those in shelters. This is why I can sit, even thought I may not physically feel like doing it, and make things to give out to people to offer them hope. Now I know that it is Compassion.

I go to bed thinking how can I bless somebody who is less fortunate. I dream about doing things for people who can’t do for themselves. I cry sometimes because I don’t have the financial means to do more. Ah, the feeling of compassion and love.

Beloved’s, GOD was so compassionate and loving towards us in that HE saw our need for a Savior that HE sent JESUS to give of HIMSELF for us so that we might live eternally with HIM in the new heaven and new earth. Shouldn’t we feel compassion and love for those whom are not able to help themselves?

I know not everybody is called or appointed to do what Out of A Pure Heart Ministries does, but we all are called to LOVE and to serve one another.

I remember the days when I would walk past homeless people and think bad thoughts about them. Thoughts like “they need to get themselves together and get a job and stop asking me for MY hard earned money” or “the only reason why they are asking for money is to support their drug habit”. What a bad heart that was. No compassion. No love. Just judgment. No pity. No desire to help. Just an uncaring heart, never thinking that that person could be me.

I believe GOD’s Word, and in HIS Word, JESUS tells us that when we do or do not help those who are hungry, homeless, sick and imprisoned, we are or are not helping HIM ~ See Matthew 25:31-46. It is a compelling story which makes me think that every time I help someone, I’m helping JESUS. I love that feeling. I love it so.
JESUS didn’t tell us to have compassion on people based on whether or not they could ever pay us back. JESUS didn’t tell us to love people who only love us. No. HE told us to love the Lord our GOD with all our heart, soul, mind and spirit, and our neighbors as ourselves ~ Mark 12:30-31.

Luke 6:35 says, But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil”.

Some peoples’ hearts are so broken, a simple smile may be all they need, but if one is not compassionate, they won’t even offer something as simple as a smile. Some just need a kind word, while others actually need things which we take for granted. I never, in my wildest dreams, would think of toilet paper as a hot commodity. Never.

As I am typing this, I can see homeless people walking around with soiled clothing on, yet I can go to my closet or drawers and pull out some clean clothes and go out looking ok. These people wear the same clothing day in and day out, oftentimes wreaking of urine and feces. Compassion will cause one to stop at a store and get them a pair of pants or at the very least, give them some money to purchase something new.

I am having a hard time dealing with the reality that people just don’t want to help this cause. I cry when I get on my broadcast to talk about the horrors of these hurting people. I am feeling trying to be patient, but each and every day, I go to bed with the knowledge that because I don’t have the proper funding, somebody in my community is out on the street, hungry or somebody in a shelter is lacking the basic daily necessities to get by.

My heart is aching but I believe GOD is going to provide the financial help, and volunteers Out of A Pure Heart Ministries need in order to show compassion to those less fortunate.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and please pray that GOD will send people to help physically and financially. And please don’t forget to pray for all those who are living on the streets and for those who are in shelters. Don’t forget, please, to pray for the abused, abandoned, and rejected.

Thank you GOD bless you.

The Joys and Sorrows of Ministry

When I look into the eyes of hurting women, I want to grab them, hug them and say, “I love you but GOD loves you best”. I want to say, “I feel your pain and I see your suffering and I’m here to help”.

There is so much that goes with ministry. It’s more than giving out personal items. It’s more than teaching and giving the Word of GOD. It’s a HEART thing. I see those women, how they use substances to cope. It’s not about judging them, it’s about feeling their pain and understanding the what and the why of HOW they got where they are now. For most, it didn’t happen overnight. It was a circumstance, a situation, some form of trauma that got them to the point of having to live in a shelter. Granted, some are there because of making bad decisions, but most are there due to some physical or psychological trauma.

NEVER SAY “NEVER”

Never say never
because the devil is clever.
Just when you think you will not
Is just when you find out you’ve been got.
The devil doesn’t come right out and attack
he waits patiently until he see’s you drifting from the pack.
Then he surrounds you like a roaring lion
Hoping you’re too weak to call on GOD from Zion.
But from somewhere inside You remember the Name
JESUS the Christ, and that’s how you overcame.

ImageBlogtalkradio business card created by Sahm King. He didn’t ask me to post this but I love his work so, as his mother, I’m posting it. If you like it, contact him.
I broadcast on Spreaker and Blogtalkradio simultaneously (most days). I can also be found on YouNow but rarely.
My programs are based on my knowledge of the Bible. I love to talk about the Bible even though I have experienced some things that would cause some to believe that there isn’t a GOD.

The things which I experienced in my life, although hard, and at times devastating, have made me strong although I do have bouts with weakness.

I do believe in GOD. I believe we are all here for a purpose and one of my purposes is writing to help others get through what they are going through. I also write to relieve anxiety and anger – anger aboout having Lupus. Anger about having fibromyalgia, Sjogrens, Paget’s disease, A-fib and now possible M.S. But through it all, I thank GOD for this gift of writing. I know sometimes my writings sound scatter-brained and maybe that’s because sometimes my emotions run high and at other times, they just run…..LOL

I do believe that if I didn’t believe in GOD, I would probably have died already. I have a strong conviction about GOD. I have never seen HIM in person, but I believe HE IS REAL. I don’t claim to understand why GOD allows some of the things that go on, but I believe that HE has a purpose for it all.

For all of the hate that is in the world, GOD IS LOVE.
For all the pain that is in the world, GOD is a healer.
For all the war that is in the world, GOD is peace.
For the death that is in the world, GOD is life.
Some may not want to agree with this post, but it’s my truth. I’ve prayed to the invisible GOD and I have gotten visible results most of the time. There are things I have prayed for and have not yet seen the manifestation but yet I believe I will see those things come to pass.
I believe that in this mortal body, I will never truly come to know GOD for who HE REALLY IS, but as long as I live, I will strive to get to know HIM MORE AND MORE.

The horrible things that are happening in the world serve only as a reminder that one day this life will be over. No more tears, no more pain, no more separation from loved ones, no more fear. Yes, I believe in GOD and I will proclaim it as long as I live and when I cease to live on this earth any longer, my writings will live on.

So, good night and God bless each and everyone of you.

(side note to Sahm and Michelle: Not depressed, not sad (except for those injured and murdered in Boston and throughout the world)…..Insider…..LOL. I love you guys!!!
